LANXESS ARENA

The Lanxess Arena, built in the Cologne district of Deutz in 1998, is one of the largest and most modern multipurpose arenas in Europe. With seating for up to 18,000 visitors, it is a top-notch venue for concerts, shows, musicals, and sports events. Additionally, it serves as the home venue for the DEL club Kölner Haie.

Affectionately dubbed the “Henkelmännchen” by locals, the Lanxess Arena is known for its distinctive arch, which spans the hall at a height of up to 76 meters.

For years, the arena has been a staple on the tour schedules of national and international stars from the rock and pop music scenes. Furthermore, it regularly hosts events such as the popular carnival event “Lachende Kölnarena,” the Night of the Proms, Apassionata, Holiday on Ice, and various Disney shows.

As the most visited event hall in Continental Europe, the Lanxess Arena is looking forward to your visit!
