TANZBRUNNEN COLOGNE
The Tanzbrunnen was built in 1928 and has since evolved into a cultural and leisure park spanning an area of approximately 30,000 square meters. It houses an open-air stage as well as a theater. From the adjacent Rheinterrassen with a restaurant and beer garden, as well as the “km 689 Cologne Beach Club” on the Deutz Rhine promenade, visitors can enjoy a magnificent view of Cologne Cathedral and the city skyline.
The open-air stage accommodates up to 12,500 spectators and is a popular venue for local, national, and international artists who perform open-air concerts here. During the two-day Amphi Festival, the Tanzbrunnen becomes a meeting point for the Gothic scene.
The Theater am Tanzbrunnen hosts banquets, celebrations, parties and private events on an area 730 square meters. The hall can accommodate up to 1,800 spectators and is also the venue for rock concerts, comedy performances and readings.
